  Has required for a number of years now extensive, wholesale refurbishment, particularly the weights machines which are 10 years + old, bad plumbing design that's been an issue for years causes a stench of urine and the showers are old and grotty. The place feels tired and increasingly low-rent, it's a shadow of its former self of 5 or 6 years ago. Head office simply aren't listening to member feedback over these issues, they merely attempt to placate. The one saving grace is that the centre staff go out their way to be helpful and friendly, but this and a free towel no longer justifies a membership fee approaching £70 a month. Along with others, I've now cancelled my membership and I'm seeing out my notice period.

  Great staff excellent classes but let down by old worn equipment including cardio machines that are 10 old years + , not upgraded since it opened many years ago - no way should it be a £70+ a month when you consider other gyms out there are better equiped and cheaper , take a look at virgin active , david lloyd and local leisure centres all better equipped How many of these 5 star reviews are by staff?? Embarrassing that you need to get them to put on a review saying how great you are , I think they do enough having to do excellent work with very poor equipment - that must of been a very constructive team meeting! Your feedback is to agree and then to do nothing ?
