  Terrible service. I waited 25 minutes before approaching the counter to enquire about the long wait. Staff were busy but didn't even acknowledge my presence or ask me to wait a moment. When they finally bothered to talk to me it turns out my prescription had been ready for ages. When I queried why I hadn't been called they just made up excuses and then actually lied, saying they had called my name while standing directly in front of me and I hadn't responded! I am partially deaf but not that deaf, and certainly not blind! Every time the pharmacist came out with a prescription he handed it to another customer, at no point did he return without giving out the prescription. Staff have no consideration for people with disabilities, which is shocking. I was made to feel like an idiot just because I don't have full hearing, and that the situation was entirely my fault. At no point did any of the staff apologise. This was only my second visit to this location (I waited 30 minutes the previous time but stupidly decided to give them the benefit of the doubt) but I won't be getting my repeat prescription from Boots in the future. Next time I will use the local pharmacy across the road, and I would advise anyone with disabilities to do the same, or risk experiencing the same rudeness, excuses, lies and disability-shaming that I did.
